Bring WayPath to your area →Our mission & testimony
We are Shaun and Danielle Stevens, homeschool parents, educators, mentors, and lifelong learners based in Inverness, Florida. WayPath grew from more than two decades of educating our own children and walking beside families who needed trusted support, meaningful community, and more ways to connect learning with real life.
Our Christian faith shapes why we serve and how we value each student. At the same time, WayPath is designed to be a welcoming resource network for local friends, families, educators, professionals, businesses, ministries, and community partners who want to invest in the next generation.
We know what it is to give years to homeschooling—to stretch what we had, stay up late, search for answers, and cry over the things we wanted for our children but could not always find or afford. We made sacrifices because we believed they were worth it. Over more than 22 years, we learned, adjusted, and kept moving forward. WayPath is our chance to build what we once needed: trusted help, real community, hands-on learning, and clearer paths into life and work. Veteran homeschool families have helped pave the way. Our prayer is that what we learned will make the road easier for the new parents and homeschoolers coming behind us.
— Shaun & Danielle Stevens · Homeschool parents for more than 22 years
Pave the Way. Make Straight the Path. Why the name WayPath?
For us, The Way is following Messiah—learning truth, walking with integrity, serving with humility, loving families well, and allowing faith to shape everyday life. Education is not separate from spiritual formation; knowledge should grow alongside wisdom, character, and purpose.
Every student’s Path may look different. We help young people recognize their God-given gifts, explore academics and careers, meet mentors, practice real skills, and take meaningful next steps toward the work and service they were created to do.
WayPath brings the two together. We want students to know not only what they can do, but who they are, why their gifts matter, and how their education can become a life of faithful work, service, and purpose.
To connect homeschool families with hands-on learning, trusted educational support, mentors, resources, and community relationships that prepare students for life, work, service, and purpose.
To grow a network of locally led learning communities where families, educators, businesses, trades, ministries, and mentors can share their strengths and create opportunities close to home.
To cultivate curiosity, critical thinking, character, creativity, practical skill, and lifelong learning while respecting the important role parents hold in directing their children’s education.
